We’re at that point. That point where a decision has to be made. A decision that effects the entirety of your remaining life. We’re at a crossroads. One path leads to life and one leads to destruction. One will lead to regret, guilt and maybe uncertainty and the other will lead to a new beginning, life and happiness. Unfortunately, the hardest part is not living the path chosen, although it will come with its difficulties, but choosing which one is right and which is wrong. That is where we spend the most time agonizing over uncertain outcomes and consequences of both decisions. Where our souls are crushed by the pressures of the unknown. Amidst our indecision, we discover sudden clarity. For no path is wrong and no path is right. Both paths will lead to regret, guilt and uncertainty and likewise new beginnings, life and happiness. We may mourn over our loss, sulk and be angry, lost and/or confused, but there will come a time when we learn and absorb and begin again. See no path is right or wrong. No decision is really ours. Every decision has a predetermined outcome. At the time we may think there is a wrong and right way to go about it, but there isn’t. No matter what decision or path we choose, we will learn and encounter everything we were put on this earth to encounter. Let us not use our energy fretting away over decisions, our souls being crushed and burdened by anticpated outcomes. Make the best decision that we are able to at the time and don’t think about “what if” because no such thing ever existed.
